Adaptive Sail - News & Announcements

This subweb is a re-design and still in development: same content with a different look and room for a lot more information.

2 sailboats racing

Experience freedom in the club's sailboats, designed for independent sailing by persons with any disability. You'll enjoy comfort and exhilaration as the instructor provides the necessary knowledge while building your confidence. During organized sailing sessions, a safety boat is always nearby. Our clubhouse and sailing facilities are fully accessible and our dock is equipped with transfer lifts to help you get in and out of your boat.

After a few training and familiarization sessions, you can be a full participant in our program, allowing you the balance of the season to enjoy both your new hobby and new friends.

The clubhouse and site are accessible and the dock has a transfer lift. Additional information is available via a brochure in the clubhouse, by mail or fax, our Internet site, or by calling for details.

How do I get started

Start with a demo sail with one of our trained volunteers or staff; no experience is necessary. Sign up for a Learn to Sail course in either daytime or evening sessions to fit your schedule. Take up Racing against other Adaptive boats, or mix it up with the regular racing fleet at NSC.

Just give us a call or email at the coordinates listed above and we can get you started.
