NSC - Race Registrants

NSC Keelboat Race Registrants & PHRF Certificate Holders.

A preliminary list of boats registered for racing has been posted as a pdf file; click on this link, NSC Keelboat Race Registrants & PHRF Certificate Holders. Racers should check this list to confirm that they are registered. If there is no date in column I, "Registration Form Received", then we have not received a race registration form for your boat. If there is no date in column H, then you have not paid your PHRF fee yet. Unless you have completed all of the requirements of registration, then you will not be scored. Note that the series for which boats have registered (e.g. JAM, One-design, PHRF, etc.) has not yet been updated for 2010, though handicaps should reflect 2010 numbers. This file will be updated before the start of the racing season.

Race Registration forms, PHRF payments, and if required, PHRF Application forms should be dropped off at the club office as soon possible, or brought to the Sail Measuring on May 2nd, if not already noted on the above list.

This list is essentially a compilation of the information on 100+ race registration forms. The following columns may be of interest to racers:

• E: The boat's PHRF-LO Certificate number.
• P: The boat's FS (spinnaker) PHRF handicap.
• R: The fleet in which the boat would race for Tuesday night PHRF racing.
• S: The boat's NFS (JAM) PHRF handicap.
• U: The fleet in which the boat would race for Thursday night JAM racing.
• X: The PHRF handicap code that determines the boat's adjustments from its SP. For more info, refer to the PHRF-LO Handicapper's Manual.
• Y: An asterisk here indicates that the boat is registered for Monday night women's racing.
• Z: An asterisk here indicates that the boat is registered for Tuesday night PHRF racing.
• AA: An asterisk here indicates that the boat is registered for Thursday night JAM racing.
• AB: An asterisk here indicates that the boat is registered for Thursday night One-design racing.
• AC: An asterisk here indicates that the boat wishes to do long distance races with a spinnaker.
• AD: An asterisk here indicates that the boat wishes to do long distance races without a spinnaker.

This list contains thousands of fields and almost certainly contains errors. It is each racer's responsibility to check the information herein and bring any errors to the attention of the NSC-Handicapper. Errors in this list will not be grounds for redress. Racers can (and should) confirm that their PHRF-LO handicap is correctly recorded, by cross-checking the information with the Valid Lists on the PHRF-LO website. While you're at it, check the information for your competitors, too. If a handicap on the PHRF-LO website does not match that recorded in this list, please send an e-mail to NSC-Handicapper.

The list is sorted in alphabetical order by owner/skipper's name. Those who have submitted incomplete applications (e.g. still need to submit measurements, payment, etc.) are highlighted in the list.

Note that this list does not include dinghy race registrations.

This list is not updated regularly -- note the revision date at the top of the list. However, race registrations and PHRF applications are processed as they are recieved throughout the summer, and the appropriate scorers are notified accordingly. You should plan on a 2-week turn-around time for processing of race registrations.
