NSC Commodore's Welcome
The Nepean Sailing Club extends a warm welcome to all sailors who will be competing in the sailing component of the Ontario Summer Games between August 13 to 17, 2006 and to their supporting families and friends. We hope to make every moment of your Summer Games experience a memorable and pleasurable one.
Our club operates in partnership with the City of Ottawa, providing families with an affordable sailing facility on the Ottawa River through dedicated volunteerism. We are extremely proud of all of our Volunteers who make every aspect of our racing and cruising experience possible.
The members, staff at Nepean Sailing Club and I look forward to greeting you and wish all participants fair winds good racing in the 2008 edition of the Ontario Summer Games.

Organizing Committee Chair's Welcome
It is again our privilege to be offering young sailors the opportunity to hone their racing skills by providing the sailing component to the biannual Ontario Summer Games. OSG is unlike any other Ontario regatta as it is part of a Olympic-like multi sport competitive event!
NSC volunteers are committed to providing the competitors with a top flight regatta experience, while the Games Organizing Committee volunteers will do the same in the broader aspects of the games such as opening ceremonies, the athletes village…… and of course OSG medals!
This year’s event will also provide an opportunity for sailors to participate in a demonstration Team Racing clinic/event. Team Racing is an up and coming format which is catching on big time with young sailors. We hope you can return to your club with competitive success in the regatta, and new skills to share in team racing.
On behalf of our entire group of volunteers, from on water officials to our shore based support teams, we welcome all competitors and coaches for a regatta filled with competition and camaraderie.
