Masts Storage On Racks

We will again be allowing only those authorized to store their mast on the rack this winter.

If you were authorized last year, you need only to visit Julie in the office for a label for your mast this winter. Please attach securely so that we can clearly identify those not authorized and remove them.

If not previously authorized you must contact me (e-mail or phone) for permission which will only be given to those with:

  • very long, ie. keel stepped masts
  • fitted winter covers which do not allow the mast on deck

Spreaders must be removed or taped against the mast before storage. This includes Hunters – if you don’t want to dismantle the spreaders, then leave the mast on the boat or store elsewhere. Remove fragile masthead equipment and obstructions such as radar antenna before storing.
