Weather rough; racers safe

All racers and race officials are safely ashore, as a strong front has swept across west-end Ottawa, bringing lightning and torrential rains.  Racers are drying off, and  officials are tabulating results, which will be posted shortly.  Please check back around 5 pm for race results and photos.
