After completing the Learn to Sail and Learn to Race programs, Able Sailors can participate in club racing.\u00a0\u00a0In 2021, the 2.4 metres and Martin 16s \u00a0will race in the Wednesday night DInghy & Cat club races, due to the proximity of the race course to NSC. A start will be assigned specifically for the 2.4 metres and Martin 16s sailors<\/span>. A scheduling system for boats, sailors, sailing companions and volunteers\u00a0will be implemented prior to the summer series<\/p>\n When: During the Summer Series – check nsc.ca\/racing for details<\/strong><\/p>\n Wednesday\u00a0evenings, 5:00 to 8:30 pm.<\/p>\n Prerequisites:<\/strong>\u00a0Racing with or without a racing companion depends on the participant’s sailing\u00a0experience.\u00a0For new racers, the Able Sail Race coach will evaluate your level. <\/span>CANSail 2\u00a0plus\u00a0a\u00a0Learn to Race program\u00a0or equivalent experience is required.<\/p>\n Fee:<\/strong>\u00a0There are no fees charged for the club racing program however, a Nepean Sailing Club membership must be\u00a0purchased to enjoy this privilege.<\/p>\n
