TO REGISTER AS A VOLUNTEER

Want to volunteer? We want you! There are many ways to support the fleets – on land, on water, you can choose. We look forward to working with you! Sign up on Eventbrite.

TO REGISTER A BOAT

Register through Eventbrite. The first step in the registration process is to “Reserve a spot” and
then pay for your registration. You will then be prompted to add your fleet, boat name, sail #, skipper, etc. Yes, we know that’s not the way it’s normally done, but that’s a constraint of using Eventbrite.

Special note about dinner tickets for Saturday night.

  • we are currently sold out for dinner tickets
  • registration fees have been adjusted to reflect this for any boats yet to register
  • if you want to be put on a waiting list, please email nod-registration@nsc.ca

TO PURCHASE SWAG OR EDIT YOUR REGISTRATION DETAILS

At this link, you can:

  • Purchase NOD branded SWAG (limited quantities and sizes available)
  • Modify the details of your boat registration (e.g. change crew information, change mainsail number). See this guide on how to edit your Eventbrite registration (illustrated with 2024 info, but it’s similar for other years).

If you have already registered a boat and want to amend your current orderor create a separate order to purchase SWAG, see instructions above.

Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act: If you require assistance with the registration process, contact the regatta chair who will arrange an alternative registration method.

DOCUMENTS TO COMPLETE BEFORE THE REGATTA

  • All skippers and all crew are required to agree to a waiver of liability as a condition of entry. These waivers should be read and understood in advance of registration.
  • Waivers are on the Documents page.
  • Signed waivers must be received by 1800 on the day before your fleet’s first scheduled race.
  • Reminder notices will be sent one week prior to NOD.
  • Send signed waivers by email to the NOD registration coordinator.

REGATTA INFORMATION TABLE

There will be a regatta information table upstairs in the clubhouse to assist competitors.

CANCELLATIONS
To cancel your order, contact the NOD registration coordinator. We will refund according to the refund policy in the Notice of Race:

  • “Withdrawal prior to the fleet cut off deadline, entry fee and additional dinner tickets will be refunded less a $25 administration charge. Withdrawal after the fleet cut off deadline, no money will be refunded.”

We are not handling cancellations through Eventbrite.
