It is with sadness that we report the passing on April 4 of NSC’s first Commodore, Gerald Gravelle (Gerry), and skipper of his home-built trimaran “Late for Dinner.”

Member of NSC’s first Executive (seen here with former Mayor Ben Franklin), “back when there was no breakwater, no yacht basin, no docks, no compound, no clubhouse, nothing..,” Gerry and fellow committee members began the transformation of what was a non-descript corner of Graham Bay into the NSC we know today.
Predeceased by his wife, best friend, soul mate, and the love of his life, Elizabeth. A joint celebration of Gerald and Elizabeth’s lives will be held at a future date.
In Memoriam donations to the Dementia Society would be appreciated.
