We are exited to announce that NSC’s sailing season kick-off event, THRASH 2024, will take place on Saturday, April 27 as of 6:00pm.
THRASH (as in THANK HEAVEN RACING AND SAILING ARE HERE!!!) is NSC’s premier sailing season kick-off event.
THRASH 2024 will be different from recent years in that we are foregoing the ticketed dinner for a free, members and guests only, come as you are, THRASH. This season’s event will include the traditional burning of the socks ceremony, followed by an evening of music and entertainment by Ottawa’s own Dueling Pianos show.
Come and join your fellow members, old and new, for this sailing season kick-off event and an evening of fun and dynamic music and entertainment.
Schedule:
6:00 pm: Burning of the Socks Ceremony and the reading of the “Ode to the Sock Burners” poem.
6:30 pm: Appetizers.
7:00 pm: Music and entertainment by Dueling Pianos’ Dave Kalil, Tyler Kealey and Todd Huckabone.
