Mobility Cup 2025 – Support Our Sailors!

Mobility Cup 2025, August 25–29 | Pointe Claire, Quebec

The Mobility Cup returns this summer, hosted by the Quebec Adapted Sailing Association (AQVA) and the Pointe Claire Yacht Club. This annual regatta invites sailors with disabilities — along with their companion sailors — to compete in Martin 16 keelboats. Over five exciting days of racing, more than 50 sailors will participate in either the Silver or Gold fleet, with competitors coming from across Canada and the U.S.

The National Capital Able Sail Association (NCASA) is proud to help local sailors reach this international stage. Through the George Simpson Legacy Fund, we aim to cover 50% of each sailor’s costs and 100% of their companion sailor’s costs — because these races can’t happen without volunteer companions. Boat shipping costs are fully covered, thanks to CN Rail.

This year, three of our talented sailors are hoping to make the trip to Mobility Cup 2025! With registration at $350 per sailor and total expenses around $2,000 (registration, travel, and accommodation), the financial hurdle is considerable.

You can help! Every dollar you donate to the George Simpson Legacy Fund / Mobility Cup goes directly to our athletes — 100%, no admin fees. Your gift will have an immediate, tangible impact, and you’ll receive a charitable tax receipt for your generosity.

Let’s get our sailors to Mobility Cup 2025! Together, we can help them chase the wind!
