The NSC Winter Speaker Series Presents: “Great Lakes Sailing: Michigan, Superior and Huron”

Join us for an evening with Luc Lafrance as he shares his unexpected journey into sailing. A decade ago, Luc had hardly stepped onto a sailboat. However, after a captivating trip to the Grenadines in 2015, he, along with a friend, took the bold step of purchasing a Bayfield 36, embarking on a series of adventures.

Luc’s talk will delve into his experiences as a novice sailor navigating the Great Lakes, the lessons learned on these waters, and the personal growth he encountered along the way. His story is for anyone interested in the transformative power of new experiences, the challenges and rewards of sailing, and the insights gained from pursuing one’s passions.

Join us to hear how Luc’s journey from a beginner to an adept sailor reflects the broader journey of embracing life’s adventures.

Come early and enjoy a meal at The Galley Restaurant and Bar. See our new menu on The Galley page.
