NSC Carpool

If you’re interested in a carpool to or from the NSC Sailing School, check out our NSC Carpool form (click here to go to our Forms page). We will then put you in touch with other NSC families in your area who are also interested in carpooling. Please note: We will only put you in contact with other parents in your area who are interested in carpooling. We do not arrange carpool schedules, pick-up/drop off times, or give out your address to other parents.

Meet the Instructor Night

The Nepean Sailing Club Sailing School is having our annual Meet the Instructor Night this Wednesday night! You and your families are invited to join us for an evening where our 2014 Instructor Team will be able to introduce themselves to their future students, answer your questions about our programs, and offer a brief tour of the facilities and the boats we use.

Where: The Harbourview Room (East Room) of the Nepean Sailing Club

When: 6:00pm on Wednesday, June 25th

2014 Race Coaches

Skill, talent, and a passion for coaching young sailors – Andrew Faurschou, Queen’s Sailing Team,  and Rae Anne Norwood, Quebec Sailing team 2012-2014,  will lead and mentor NSC’s Youth Race team and CANSail 5/6 Learn to Race programs. Both are graduates of our very own NSC High Performance Race Team and have extensive race experience and knowledge in 420’s and Laser Radials. Sail Canada Awards

On February 28th, 2014 Sail Canada hosted their annual Sail Canada Awards evening in Toronto.

Representatives from NSC Kerri Weller, Callum Smith, and Amie Renaud attended the event to accept the William Abbott Sr. Trophy for Sail Training Program of the Year 2013. NSC representatives were joined by past Sail Training Director Hugh McGugan. more…
