Baskin’s Beach – Aug 8

Baskin’s Beach Weekend is NSC’s most popular up-river social event of the summer. The event will be held on August 8, 2026. Activities usually get started mid-afternoon, though there’s always set up and help with dinner food prep for the early arrivals.

Many boats anchored off Baskins Beach

There will be games and socializing on the beach starting around 3 pm, a dinner of pulled pork and salads at 6:30 pm, and then live music around the bonfire (weather permitting).

Please let us know if you plan to attend – donations of $10 per person are requested (and can be made onsite) to offset a portion of the costs.

The Baskin’s Beach property is a privately owned park, about 4 miles past Pinhey’s Point, on the Ontario shore. In recent years, upwards of 50 boats have made the voyage up-river, while others have driven up, for an afternoon of games and socializing, and dinner. For those wishing to drive, it’s ~ about 35 minutes from the club. See this link to Google Maps, for directions from NSC.
