NSC is seeking more members to become qualified as a Club Judge and help support NSC’s amazing racing program. This course is intended for anyone who is interested in supporting our club racing and regattas. It is also a great course for anyone wanting to develop their knowledge of the Racing Rules of Sailing and how to apply them.
Nepean Sailing Club is hosting an Ontario Sailing Club Judge Seminar on March 21 2026.
At this course, not only will you review rules, definitions, and the application of the rules, you will be exposed to what’s involved in organizing a regatta, running a protest hearing and much more.

Club Judge Course at Ontario Sailing

Ontario Sailing delivers Sail Canada Club Judge courses to provide qualified, trained individuals to act as judges and protest committee chairs. To be certified as a Club Judge you first complete a Sail Canada Club Judge Seminar. Once an individual completes the Seminar and gains practical experience, they can apply for Club Judge Certification.
