Original Deed, Background and History of the Trophy:
The Louise McKinnon Memorial Trophy was donated by Scott McKinnon for a Ladies Series, in the early days of Women's racing in Ottawa. Louise was an NSC member, sailor and Scott's wife; she died in 1986.
The Louise McKinnon Memorial Trophy was first awarded in 1988.
1988-2007: Winner of Women's Series I.
2008-2017: Winner of Women's Fleet 1 (Non-coached), Series I. (Note that in 2008, the Women's fleet was split into Non-coached and Coached fleets.
2018: Winner of Women's, both Fleets 1A & 1B, Series I. (Note that in 2018, Fleet 1 was split into Fleet 1A and 1B, based on handicap.)
2019-Present: Winner of Women's Series I, Fleet 1A (Non-coached).
