Original Deed, Background and History of the Trophy:

The Scott’s Restaurants Trophy was donated by Gerry Keating, for the NSC Mohr Island Weekend Race. It was inherited from the Dunrobin Shores SC in 1983. This trophy should not be confused with the Scott’s Restaurants Fall Series Plaque.

The Scott’s Restaurants Trophy was first awarded at NSC in 1983.

Awarded For:

The details of what this trophy was awarded for are sketchy. Up until c2003, it is believed this trophy was awarded for the 2-day Mohr Island Weekend Race, that consisted of a race up on Saturday, and a race back on Sunday. It's believed this trophy was awarded to the first PHRF boat.
2005-2010: It is likely that this award was confused with the Scott’s Restaurants Fall Series Plaque for the Frostbite Series; certainly Blue Zulu did not compete in the Mohr Island Race in 2010, though Blue Zulu appears on the 2010 shield.

Awarded To:

2003 - O'Boy
2004 - Not awarded
2005 - Sweet Chariot
2006 - HiJinx
2007 - Jolly Rodent
