The Ottobahn Elapsed Time Trophy was donated by Gertrude & Otto Schmalz to acknowledge the first three finishers on elapsed time. It was named after their Laser 28 "Ottobahn".

The Ottobahn Trophy was first awarded in 1991.

1991-Present: First three boats in the Single Handed Keelboat Race, based on elapsed time.
