Original Deed, Background and History of the Trophy:

The Kirby 25 PHRF Best Performance Trophy was created by John Mahan.

It was first awarded in 1989.

Sometime between 1997 and 2010, it seems the original trophy with the dark base was replaced with a lighter wooden base, using the half hull from the original trophy.
