The Joint NSC/BYC Single-Handed Race was held on Sunday, August 25, under sunny skies and light northwesterly winds. Fifteen boats made it to the start line — more than in any other year in the past 10+ years! The RC, led by Luke Sheppard, started on time, and set the course as C to H, twice around. Winds were generally ~4-6 knots, sometimes increasing to 7-10, but with patches of much less, and after the first few boats finished, the winds died off. Congrats and kudos to the half-dozen boats that flew their spinnakers.

Blue Zulu won the the Whippet Cup for the overall winner on corrected time, and Segueh, Blue Zulu and J Crüe get their names engraved on the Ottobahn Trophy, as the first three boats across the finish line. Full results here.
