There is a new private buoy 200 yards east of the outer channel markers. This buoy marks a very large rock that sits two feet below the surface at chart datum and weighs about four tons.

Attention NSC Women Sailors: The initial Notice of Race for the 2016 Sail Canada Women’s Keelboat Championships hosted by BYC September 15 to 18, right here on our own river, has just been issued. Online registration opens May 1st for the first 35 eligible Shark boat teams that enter.
On July 16th onwards, the Lake Ontario 300 Challenge offshore race was held out of Port Credit Yacht Club. The world’s longest annual freshwater race, 106 boats from clubs around the lake competed on either the Scotch Bonnet (200 Nm) or Main Duck (300 Nm) Courses in various divisions.
As of July 19, posting in the NSC Classified Ads is restricted to NSC Members. Members of the general public still have read access to the Classified Ads listings, but are no longer able to submit new ads.
There are three races on the July 23/24 weekend. One is the BYC Margarita weekend in which you race upriver on the Saturday and downriver on Sunday. The second race is the NSC Mohr Island race which is up and down on the Saturday. The third race is part of the Interclub Long Distance Series…
The Easter Seals BOTB Swim is set again this year for Saturday morning, July 16th. We are expecting another great event with 500+ swimmers. Please note that for the safety of the swimmers the harbour entrance will be closed from 7:00-8:30am
