Are you interested in learning how to expertly lay racing marks for Nepean Sailing Club’s races and regattas? If so, Ontario Sailing will be holding a combined Mark Layer and Assistant Mark Layer Training session at NSC on May 24 and 25. The registration deadline is May 14!
NSC members with race mark laying skills are required for all NSC racing activities. For NSC members who successfully complete the course, the fee of $72 (plus GST) will be refunded by NSC Fleet.
These courses are prerequisites to apply for the Assistant Mark Layer and Mark Layer certifications. An Assistant Mark Layer is capable of assisting a mark layer as a member of the Race Committee. A Mark Layer is capable of managing the mark laying operations of a regatta as part of the Race Committee.
