Saturday June 9th – the party of the season!

At NSC we’re known for our parties. Sailpast 2012 is bound to be a great one!

We kick off at 12 noon with a burgee presentation at the flagstaff to honour our club’s new Flag Officers, past Board members and those celebrating 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years of membership.

At 2 pm we meet out on the water to salute our Commodore in the time-honoured tradition of a Sailpast by luffing our jibs as we pass his stern. That will be followed by a spinnaker parade, for those who have them.  (Sailing instructions will be available at the bar.)

At 5 pm,  meet back on the deck for cocktails.

At 7 pm, enjoy our special Redneck Rib Night, presented by the Galley and your NSC Social Committee. After dinner, stick around for live music and dancing, featuring Counterfit.

Remember, the theme for the night is Redneck! We’ll have prizes for the best decorated boats and best costumes . . . so let your imagination run wild!
