SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Any changes to these instructions will be announced at the burgee presentation at 1100hrs.
The Commodore will take the salute aboard his boat, flying the Commodore’s burgee.
Boats should leave the harbour by 1300 hrs and assemble at the rendezvous area designated by the race committee boat flying the blue RC flag (likely the Andy Haydon, white hull). The rendezvous area is expected to be about 1 nautical mile up river of NSC in the racing circle.
The Sail Past will begin at 1400 hrs with one sound signal and a red flag from the Race Committee boat.
The lead boat will be the Tornado “Invisible” with sail number KC-27, and will have John Blackwood, Fleet Captain on board.
At the signal, all boats shall follow in line behind the lead boat, starting at the Committee Boat, and proceed towards a yellow tetrahedron drop mark just north of the Commodore’s boat. Round the mark to starboard and then cross astern of the Commodore’s boat.
Salute the Commodore by luffing your jib or by dipping the club burgee.
Festivities will be led by the Commodore on return to the NSC Docks.
