Boats are to clear the harbour by 13:00 hrs and assemble at the rendezvous area designated by the race committee boat flying the blue RC flag. (Likely the “Andy Hayden”, White hull).
The rendezvous area is expected to be about 1 nautical mile west of the NSC harbour entrance.
The Sail Past will begin with one sound signal and a red flag from the Race Committee boat (The “Andy Hayden”) at 14:00 hrs.
The Commodore will take the salute aboard “RISKY BUSINESS” (Sirius 28).
The lead boat will be the J24 “Woodchuck.” The lead boat will have Tracy Ross, Fleet Captain on board and be carrying the fleet captain burgee.
After the signal, all boats shall follow in line behind the lead boat, starting at the Committee Boat, and go around a drop mark, leaving it buoys to port, and then cross the stern of “RISKY BUSINESS,” leaving them to starboard.
Salute the Commodore by luffing your jib or by dipping the Club Burgee.
Festivities will be led by the Commodore on return to the NSC Docks.
Any changes to these instructions will be announced at the burgee presentation at 1200hrs.
