Construction Tuesday, 19 October near West and Main Dock Gates
On Tuesday, 19 October, Water Survey Canada will be installing a new water level monitoring station adjacent to the ramp leading to the main docks. This station feeds the water level and flow monitoring system provided to the public by Environment Canada. Members are asked to use caution when transiting the area.
Indoor Lift Out of Order
Please be advised that the indoor lift at the Club is out of order until further notice. Technicians have been contacted and maintenance is underway. We apologize for this inconvenience and will provide an update when the lift is operational.
Cradle Layout/Yard Closure – Changed to Tuesday, 19 Oct
In order to allow for more flexibility for this coming weekend’s racing and yard reconfiguration activities, cradle placement has been changed from Monday, 18 Oct, to Tuesday, 19 Oct. For member’s safety, the yard will be closed from 0800 hrs until 1600 hrs due to heavy machinery moving the cradles.
Trailered Boat Co-operative: 30 October 2021
Members, Is your boat stored on a trailer? Do you sometimes have a hard time finding enough hands to help haul out? If your boat weighs less than the NSC crane weight limit (10,000 lbs) and you are available on 30 October, the Trailered Boat Co-operative may be just what you need! Please Use Care When Pressure Washing at the Cranes
Members are reminded to please exercise care when pressure washing boats after hauling out at the cranes so that adjacent boats on W Dock are not inadvertently covered with grit and grime.

A crane familiarization session will be held at the North crane on Sunday, 3 Oct at 2:00 PM. Please register with the Front Desk (admin@nsc.ca). On arrival, check in with Parke Davis & Mike Roper who will lead the session. All members & their families are welcome. Be aware that the session will be video recorded for use on the NSC YouTube channel. As a reminder, attending a training session on the NSC cranes is mandatory for all members wanting to use them for launch & haul out & for putting up or taking down masts. more…
