NSC’s Google Calendar has been updated for 2023 — check it out! Events don’t make it onto this calendar until we’re 90% confident that they’ll happen as scheduled, and there are still some events planned for 2023 that don’t yet meet that criteria. My name is Greg Dargavel. My wife, Pam Hopkins-Dargavel, is a former nurse who is in liver failure because she contracted hepatitis C through an accidental patient needle stick at a local hospital. Report on 2022 Purple Martin Banding
There was a great turnout on the NSC grounds July 9 and 16 with a total of some 100 members of the public watching, interacting and some holding purple martin chicks. 236 chicks were banded there. more…

Phishing Emails, Seemingly from NSC’s Commodore
Some members have recently received email messages which appear to have been sent by NSC’s Commodore, David Neasmith. However, these are most definitely phishing emails, and certainly were not sent by David. They should be ignored.
