Alymer Island Volunteer Cleanup a Success!
This past Sunday, NSC assisted in transporting volunteers to Aylmer Island for a shoreline clean up. 13 volunteers from Ottawa Riverkeeper and Deep Blue Cleanup and three boat drivers from NSC removed 44 pounds of garbage and a derelict fiberglass dinghy. The day was a great success and more shoreline cleanups along our stretch of the river are planned for the future. more…
