NSC’s Google Calendar has been updated for 2023 — check it out! Events don’t make it onto this calendar until we’re 90% confident that they’ll happen as scheduled, and there are still some events planned for 2023 that don’t yet meet that criteria. Crazy (and Erroneous) Wind Plots
Yes, the weather and winds were crazy on Sunday, August 8. Lots of very heavy downpours amidst thunderstorms, and as reported by multiple weather stations and sailors alike, the wind was constantly changing direction. Phishing Emails, Seemingly from NSC’s Commodore
Some members have recently received email messages which appear to have been sent by NSC’s Commodore, David Neasmith. However, these are most definitely phishing emails, and certainly were not sent by David. They should be ignored. The most recent messages originated from commodoreoffice60@gmail.com, with a subject of “I need you to handle a request discreetly”. more…
