At the 2020 AGM on December 16th, the NSC Volunteer of the Year (NAVAA Trophy) was announced and virtually awarded to Rene Lessard. Rene was selected by his fellow members and volunteers for his exceptional contributions as part of the Harbour and Yard team during 2020.
At the AGM, Michele Cimon, Sail Training and Able Sail Director, announced “The Sesiya Project”. Through a generous donation from Bill James of Guelph, this fall NSC acquired a 1976 C&C 27-3 for use in our Sail Training and Able Sail Programs. See the AGM slides, or visit nsc.ca/Sesiya/ for more info.

If you happen to go to the yard this winter to check on your boat and see other boats’ tarps have come loose, or any other situation that appears amiss, please try to identify the boat and make the staff aware (Julie: admin@nsc.ca or James: facilities@nsc.ca) so the owner(s) can be contacted.
