An 8-inch diameter deadhead was spotted October 18 just northwest of KN6, the last red mark you pass on leaving the harbour. Another 12 inch diameter deadhead was spotted October 23 near Constance Bay in the channel between K11 and K10 about 40 meters east of K11.
The Jacques Adam River Challenge (JARC) is ending early this year. All attempt submissions must be submitted by 2100 on Sunday, October 18, to be eligible for the 2020 ranking. For masts stored on the NSC racks, spreaders must be completely removed and not taped or hanging from the shrouds. Masts must also be labelled with this form; please print and put in a plastic bag affixed to your mast.
