Turkey Trot Race and Feast – Monday, October 10
Gobble! Gobble! Gobble! Folks, the ever popular NSC Turkey Trot Race and Feast is just a few days away and counting on Monday Oct. 10! This is an open club pursuit sail race followed by a member’s social Thanksgiving feast in the afternoon. All sailboats and members welcome. Registered Handicaps are not required!

2016 Women’s PHRF Keelboat Racing Dinner
2nd Annual End of Season Celebration – Monday, Sept 26, 2015. All Monday night crews are invited to an informal dinner to celebrate the end of the NSC Women’s racing season. This is our final opportunity to get together one last Monday before winter!

2016 Interclub ‘End of Series’ Social – NSC, September 29
The Nepean Sailing Club is pleased to host this year’s Interclub End of Weeknight Racing Social on Thursday, September 29th after racing. Come one, come all, and pass the word to your fellow sailors on the river! Good company, and scrumptious Galley finger food provided around 8pm.

20 Mile Trophy Race, September 25
The NSC 20 Mile Race is the last race of the Interclub Long Distance Series. Sunday, September 25 with a 1000 Warning. Start and finish at “S” mark. Refer to Sailing Instructions for race detail.

FANtastic FAll REgatta (FANFARE) – 2016 Report
The NSC FANFARE regatta team stepped it up for 2016, with a 51-boat 3-day event, including 18 out-of-town visiting boats. Fireball dinghies and F18 cats raced 3 days as their Canadian championships. 8 to 15 knots on Friday and Saturday allowed a complete set of races each day.

Fleet Quarterly Report – Summer Q3 2016
It’s towards end of August and as the Commodore’s update noted, our club is vibrant with member activity across the board. Whether we’re day sailing, cruising overnight, sailing in a club event, or simply messing around with boats, sailing and boating at NSC is alive and well.
