Please Lock your Ladders
Please ensure that your ladders are locked to your cradle or trailer while not in use. Locking the ladders is a simple measure to help deter theft – of the ladders themselves, and also a deterrent for anyone using your ladder to “visit” other boats. Please help keep everyone – and everything – safe.

Winter Yard Routine
The east gate (vehicle) is now closed and will remain closed for the remainder of the winter. For access to your boats please use the west gate and the Club staff will do their best to keep foot traffic open. All shore power cords will be unplugged. If you need to charge batteries in the new year please reach out to James, mpm@nsc.ca to make arrangements. Reminder to everyone that unattended electrical space heaters are not allowed.

COVID-19 Update – Changes to Member Access to the Clubhouse
With Winter fast approaching, NSC is changing access protocols to the clubhouse to allow members and their guests to enter the club by either of the main floor doors during bar hours (ie. Wed – Sun). This change will take effect on Wednesday, 24 November. A host will be stationed at the main entrance to verify vaccination status, conduct COVID screening and provide access control. Please treat this employee of the club respectfully as they are there to help your club comply with provincially required COVID protocols. more…
Water Shut-Off in the Yard
Due to freezing temperatures, the water supply to the yard has been turned off to avoid damage to the system. There is no running water in the Junior Pavilion washrooms and water at the Service docks has been disconnected.

The NSC Harbour is Now Closed
The NSC harbour is now closed for the Winter as of Tuesday, 16 November. The cranes will be decommissioned for the winter later this month.

J/22 Trailer Spare Tire Missing
A spare tire from a member’s /J22 trailer has gone missing from the yard. This occurred between the dates of 6 and 14 November. If anyone knows of its whereabouts, or perhaps needed to use it for an emergency, please contact James Pole: mpm@nsc.ca No questions will be asked.
