As part of the Sailpast activities the Board of Directors will be awarding five special awards for Outstanding Committee Volunteer for 2017. The award is a unique glass plaque that the recipient will take home with them to put in a place of honour. These plaques will be awarded again next year.
Each Director with a committee was tasked with nominating a NSC volunteer who;
- Volunteered their time as a long term member of a committee,
- Made an outstanding contribution to the Club in their area of “expertise” (racing, able sail, social, harbour, and public relations) and,
- Demonstrated a willingness to take a leadership role within a committee for the betterment of the NSC.
These were very difficult decisions because of the wealth of superb volunteers we have in the Club. Please come to the award and burgee presentation around 12:30 and to honour Peter Wood, Michael Lee, Pat Morden, Hugh Morrin and Dan Servranckx and applaud their contribution to NSC.
