Turkey Trot Race, Social & Pot Luck – Monday, October 10

NSC’s annual Turkey Trot pursuit race is one of the highlights of our sailing calendar — it runs on Thanksgiving Monday, with the warning signal at 1100. The format is unchanged from previous years; review the List of Start Times & Sailing Instructions.

After racing, join us in Harbourview Hall to celebrate a great sailing season! Hot turkey sandwiches will be provided. If you’d like to bring a dish for the potluck, please bring a salad or dessert to share for six. There is no cost for this event.

There will be no Skippers Meeting, however, the Race Officer (Doug Patterson) will be available in the Members’ Lounge 0945-1000 if anyone has any questions. Note that individual boats are no longer listed on the start times list; instead, boats of a particular class and configuration (spinnaker or no spinnaker) start at the same time. Boats get the average handicap of all boats in PHRF-LO of that class, except for one-design boats which get their ODR handicap.

If your class of boat is not listed, please send an email to the club Handicapper.
