The Government of Ontario requires that individuals using interior dining, bar and/or event areas must show a valid proof of vaccination before being permitted to enter. The provincial regulation is here. Alymer Island Volunteer Cleanup a Success!
This past Sunday, NSC assisted in transporting volunteers to Aylmer Island for a shoreline clean up. 13 volunteers from Ottawa Riverkeeper and Deep Blue Cleanup and three boat drivers from NSC removed 44 pounds of garbage and a derelict fiberglass dinghy. The day was a great success and more shoreline cleanups along our stretch of the river are planned for the future. more…
FANFARE 2021 Report: Camaraderie and Big Breeze
Our small boat regatta FANFARE (FAntastic Nepean FAll REgatta) 2021 ran 11+12 September. We had a strong turnout of 38 boats. The breeze was on (seriously) and the water was still comfortably warm for small boat racing. Results are here. more…
