From Britannia-Rideau Power & Sail Squadron – In the past 20 years the world of marine navigation has undergone profound technological change.
Nepean Sailing Club will be hosting a series of speaker series talks throughout the course of the winter. The first talk is scheduled for Jan 13 at 1PM with a sport psychologist.
Bob Macquarrie and family have been working hard on making a rink at the club. Weather permitting, come down and enjoy some skating!
Sid Palidwor, an avid sailor and long time member of the Nepean Sailing Club, passed away last Sunday.
Bruce Macdonald’s wife, Linda, passed away Dec. 22 after a prolonged illness. Bruce was with her at the time and said she was at peace. The funeral service will be private but Bruce has planned a “Celebration of Life” in NSC’s East Room on Sunday 20 Jan. 2013, from 2 to 5pm. See Linda’s obituary.
