The NSC Club (commercial) launch date has been set for Saturday, 13 June 2020. This is likely welcome news to many! Due to COVID-19, the manner in which this year’s launch will be conducted will have some differences to ensure the safety of all involved – skippers/owners and volunteers.
While racing is still on hold pending approval from the provincial government, plans are underway, and we fully expect to have some racing program in 2020. But to be eligible, racers must first register; NSC members should use the NSC on-line Race Registration portal.
NSC is carefully adhering to Ontario Sailing guidelines, as Fleet activities start. Currently, the following boating activities are allowed, per OS guidelines: recreational boating of individual boats with only members of one household aboard – so you are free to take your boat and enjoy the river.
Ontario Sailing is offering an on-line Assistant Race Officer course on Monday and Tuesday evenings, June 8 & 9, from 7:00-10:00 p.m., and the best part is that NSC will reimburse the course cost for any NSC members!
