Pinheys Point – Navigation
Update June 5: The log reported at Pinhey’s Point has been towed to shore and tied to the Pinhey’s Point dock by a helpful boater Luc Lafreniere. The log has also acquired a name, Mr. Round, courtesy of Luc’s daughter.

Anchoring Clinic For Cruisers – Report
Our first anchoring clinic for cruising boats was held on July 14, and we were pleasantly amazed by the turnout. Teams from 16 boats enjoyed the technical presentation on how, where and when to anchor. Thanks to NSC volunteers Rick Anderton, John Moss, Rick Nelson, and local expert Ken Aalders, who together created and delivered the training. more…
