Interclub End Of Series Social – BYC, Thursday, September 29
Thursday, September 29th after racing, Britannia Yacht Club will be graciously hosting this year’s Interclub End of Weeknight Racing Social. Come one, come all and pass the word to your fellow sailors! Good company, and finger food provided. Head over to the BYC lounge immediately after racing.
Frostbite Series: October 2, 9 & 16
The Interclub Frostbite Series runs the first three Sunday afternoons after weeknight racing, which this year is October 2, 9 & 16. Come enjoy the fall colours and an afternoon of around the buoys racing. There are two races per day, with the first warning signal at 13:30, per Part F of the Sailing Instructions.
Crane Familiarization & Co-Op Mast Take Down – Saturday, October 1 @ 0800
If you plan to use the standing cranes at NSC to launch, haul-out, de-mast or mast your boat, you must have participated in a “crane familiarization” session. If you haven’t done so already, signup is done online. A crane familiarization session will be held at the North Crane on Saturday, October 1 at 8:00 AM. more…
Turkey Trot Social & Potluck
Join us in Harbourview Hall after the Turkey Trot Race to celebrate a great sailing season! Hot turkey sandwiches will be provided. If you’d like to bring a dish for the potluck, please bring a salad or dessert to share for six. There is no cost for this event.
26 km Race – Sunday, September 25
The NSC-hosted 26 km Race (formerly the 20 Mile Race) runs this Sunday, September 25, with the warning at 1100, per Part H and Annex A of the Sailing Instructions. Boats should record their rounding and finish times, per Part I of the SIs, when passing P Mark, aligned with the Camp Fortune Tower. Submit your finish time as soon as able.
