NSC and NCASA hosted the 2019 Mobility Cup on September 9-13. The regatta attracted 35 adaptive sailors from as far away as Hawaii and California, and from 7 provinces coast to coast. We had 4 days of excellent winds, completing a full set of races for Gold and Silver fleets. more…

20 Mile Trophy Race: Sunday, September 22
The last race of the Interclub Long Distance Series is Sunday, September 22. Warning signal at 1000. Start at “S” mark, round temporary up-river mark to port and finish at “S” mark. Refer to Sailing Instructions for details.
Moving Trailers in Preparation for Haul Out
In preparation for haul out, over the next two weeks, members who have trailers in the yard are asked to either take them home, if possible; or, to ensure they can be easily moved (ie. no locks or blocks, tires inflated, cleared of loose material). Trailers will be moved to the grassed area along the South yard fence, as per the Spring.

Race Committee Needed This Week – Mobility Cup
We need race committee volunteers for the Mobility Cup (Able Sail Canadian Championship). 1 or more days, Monday 9 – Friday 13 September, daytime. We were well-organized, but had a couple of cancellations due to hurricanes and health. Contact Rick Anderton by email or phone 613 222 7735.
Low Water Levels at NSC
Water levels are unusually low. if your boat has a draft of 5 ft. or more, please exercise extreme caution in the harbour and channel.
Boats Needed – Mobility Cup
