Yard Gate – Repaired!
Great news! The powered gate to the yard has been replaced and is now back in operation. Members are reminded to please drive slowly in the yard for both safety and dust control reasons.

The Queen’s Park Race, hosted by BYC, is a counter for the Interclub Long Distance Series. The warning signal is 13:30, Sunday July 28. Start at “S” mark, leave to port the drop mark at Queen’s Park and finish at “S” mark. For detail refer to the Sailing Instructions.
Cooking for Kids! Sign up for a date in August
Join Chef Rony with your kids for some creative cooking at NSC! Each Saturday in August from 10am-12pm Rony will be cooking up a treat. Learn how to make Chocolate balls, Pretzels and more! SWAN Sail With A Neighbour, Saturday, July 27 – Cancelled
Thank-you to our volunteers Adam and Kathryn, who diligently engaged a significant number of NSC keelboat owners. The excellent news is that they already knew their dock neighbour. So the feedback is that we do not need to promote a special day, because NSC club fellowship is strong. Therefore, we won’t run this experimental event.
2019 Fleet Mid-Summer Report
Boating, sailing and racing at NSC are in full swing. Fleet claims credit for the warm and windy June and July weather. There are 2 race courses on Lac Deschenes run for you (and by you), 4 nights a week, and turnout is on par with 2018. NOD had a reasonable turnout and an average of 6 races per fleet, which is right on the norm, and sponsorship was outstanding. Dinghy rental program has successfully launched.
