Report on Midnight Madness Race – Friday, August 14
A record 18 boats enjoyed a beautiful evening on the water for this year’s running of the Midnight Madness Race. Many boats were decked out with colourful lights, making for quite a show, though it’s still hard to tell who’s who in the dark, especially when the lights get turned off for racing. more…
Tuesday & Thursday Fall Racing – Mandatory To (Re)Register By August 16
Tuesday and Thursday Fall Series will begin August 25 and you must register for this racing by August 16, even if you have previously registered for racing; all previous registrations are invalid for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Report on Stony Point Upriver Race – August 9th
The Stony Point race was held August 9th, per these instructions. Winds were generally light to non-existant, though at times peaked at 8-10 knots, before dying to nothing at the end of the day. Well done to those who hung in and finished the longest of the ILD races. Results.
