The National Capital Cup Regatta was successfully held on July 8 & 9 after a three year break due to COVID and a slow recovery from the pandemic. This year’s event had four entrants in Gold Fleet and four entrants in Silver Fleet with out of town sailors coming from Vancouver and Belleville. more…

NOD 2023 Wrap-Up: 50 Boats, One Great Race Day and One Not So Good
The NOD (Nepean One Design) regatta, on June 17-18, had 50 boats racing on two race courses on Lac Deschenes, with 110 competitors competing in J/22, J/80, Shark 24, Viper 640, 505, Fireball and Albacore on the middle and upper courses. more…

We are very pleased and proud to tell you about one of our own ; Kyber Lovshin, who you can see below learning how to fly on the Waszp in Kingston. Report on Pinhey’s Point Race, June 26
The NSC Pinhey’s Point Race ran Sunday, June 26, in near perfect conditions: winds were out of the south at 10-15 knots at the start, and built slightly to 15-20+ during the race. 19 boats, including 6 PHRF and 13 JAM boats made the 14 Nm trip up to Pinhey’s and back. It is a wrap – NOD 2022
Another Nepean One-Design regatta is in the books. The Co-chairs agree this was a success. A huge thank you for the support NSC staff provided during the planning and the execution of the regatta.
