NSC is pleased to announce that the 2015 recipients of the Legacy Awards have been determined and the funds have been awarded!
In an effort to increase the awareness of our Able Sail program, our Martin Sailboat #16 was on the move throughout the city with an entourage of volunteers and admirers.

Please be advised that the Quyon cable ferry has started operation. The ferry uses a submerged cable connecting the old ferry terminals at Quyon (Quebec) and Mohr’s Landing (Ontario).
Fleet is pleased to introduce the “Crew Table” as a meeting place for skippers and crew on race nights. Building on an informal but poorly advertised practice that has existed for years, the Crew Table is intended to facilitate connecting those interested in racing, with those needing crew on any given night.
With the help of 12 volunteers, the installation of NSC’s “Goose Guard Mk 4’s” was completed this morning. For all you Geese out there, this is it, your final eviction notice to leave our Dinghy Docks (we hope!).

The Nepean Sailing Club is once again proud to be a host venue for the Doors Open Ottawa event happening Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7, from 10am to 4pm each day. NSC is one of over 100 locations that will open its doors to the public and provide tours to interested residents.
The annual NSC rites of spring have now passed, with a great THRASH by Social, Launch, and weekly Interclub Racing has begun (Yeah!) as I’m finally pulling together this quarterly report. Your 2015 Fleet Committee volunteers have been busy putting the final pieces in place for the start of a fantastic Sailing season.
