Deadhead Alerts
An 8-inch diameter deadhead was spotted October 18 just northwest of KN6, the last red mark you pass on leaving the harbour. Another 12 inch diameter deadhead was spotted October 23 near Constance Bay in the channel between K11 and K10 about 40 meters east of K11.
Report on Turkey Trot – Monday, October 12
It was a cool and cloudy day on Thanksgiving, but there was a great wind out of the east at ~10-16 knots, and 43 boats participated in NSC’s annual Turkey Trot. Thanks to Doug Patterson and the W-dock RC posse, and to the kitchen staff for the wonderful turkey box lunches provided to all of the competitors.
