Turkey Trot 2019 – Report
A strong turnout of 40 boats sailed the Turkey Trot pursuit race on Thanksgiving Monday. Congratulations to Hugo Morin and Tristan King from CVGR for line honours in their 49er, accompanied by their fan club, and to NSC’s Lone Shark as top keelboat. FANFARE 2019 – Report
The FAntastic Nepean FAll REgatta 2019 ran on September 7 and 8. It is our annual small boat, big wind event. Winds were the most consistent in living memory. All fleets had 12 races which is an outstanding achievement. more…
Mobility Cup Regatta – Report
NSC and NCASA hosted the 2019 Mobility Cup on September 9-13. The regatta attracted 35 adaptive sailors from as far away as Hawaii and California, and from 7 provinces coast to coast. We had 4 days of excellent winds, completing a full set of races for Gold and Silver fleets. more…
Weeknight Racing – Earlier Start From 1 September
Weeknight racing starts 15 minutes earlier from 1 September 2019, as specified in the sailing instructions. This is our usual shift as the evenings become shorter.
Queen’s Park Race – Sunday August 25
Queen’s Park Race #2 is an Interclub Long Distance series counter. The warning signal is at 13:30. Start at “S” mark, leave to port drop mark at Queen’s Park and finish at “S” mark. Refer to Sailing Instructions for more detail. This race is open to Dinghies, Daysailers and Sharks as a class.
