This year’s Sailpast was even more special even than usual. In addition to the Caribbean theme, steel band, cocktails, special menu and everyone getting leis, we were blessed with the donation of a C&C27, Sesiya, from Bill James, for our Sail Training programs. The NSC ABLE Sail Camps for Kids/Youth are now welcoming children with physical disabilities, as well as able bodied participants. We have 1-2 spots to fill and are now opening up registration to ANY child that would like to participate.

Dinghy & SUP Rentals are now open for those who attended a Qualifier session in 2020 – more info here. Participation at a Qualifier session is required before renting a dinghy (but not a SUP); the next Qualifier sessions is August 7. Book here.

Dear Sailors, we have an unofficial adventure sail planned for August 7th from NSC, up river to LDSC. There we are invited to beach / moor and enjoy the lawn and grounds at LDSC with their members. This is not a race, although I am sure some spirited sailing may result. Fancy dress is not…

Update 2021-08-13: Still awaiting parts. Do not follow other vehicles through the sliding gate into the boatyard. The detector loop is not functioning. This means that your vehicle and the gate could sustain significant damage if it starts to close when you are part way through.
