Registration is now open for NSC’s new “Start Keelboat Sailing” week-long day camp for youth for ages 13+. No previous sailing experience required. Aboard NSC’s C&C 27, Sesiya, a small group of youth will learn the basics of sailing and focus on the initial development of practical skills while participating in operation of a keelboat.

On Friday, 16 July, the Ontario provincial COVID measures will change to Step 3. The latest provincial regulation is here. A summary of each step is here. For NSC this means that in addition to the easing of restrictions in Step 2, the clubhouse can open to members with some restrictions which are listed below…
The yard is now open to vehicle access. Members are reminded to park in designated areas and to not block trailer-launched or dry sail boats. Please drive slowly as we have children and families at the Sailing School.

Step 2 regulations allow us to resume our normal racing program, so racing starts July 6 following our 2019 race format.
Water levels are unusually low for this time of year. Boats with a draft of 5 ft. or more need to exercise extreme caution in the harbour and transiting the NSC channel. The channel markers have been moved significantly East and South to compensate. Further details are included below:
