There is no parking in the Yard until further advised. Exceptions are made for Park sailors and Able sailors while they are using their boats, and for contractors and Service Providers working on your behalf. Please ensure that all vehicles are removed from the Yard by 21h00 each evening when it will be locked.
Some members have recently received email messages which appear to have been sent by NSC’s Commodore, David Neasmith. However, these are most definitely phishing emails, and certainly were not sent by David. They should be ignored. NSC came out of Saturday’s derecho with no significant damage to our grounds or infrastructure. In the Park, however, several boats were spun-around and dragged by the wind. Unfortunately, some were damaged – significantly fewer than could have been thanks to some quick action from Greg Johnston and Brent Beninger.
We sincerely hope that you’re all safe and dry. A short update on NSC after the storm: Our generator is powering the Clubhouse; Galley will be open; vehicle gate is unlocked but must be opened manually; Cranes and Service Docks are not operational as they are not run from the generator. Many thanks to James…
