It is with great sadness that we report the passing of NSC member John Simons on Sunday Feb. 23rd. See his obituary.

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of NSC member Don McGillivray, owner of Tanzer 22 “Kookaburra”, suddenly on January 30th. See his obituary.

It is with sadness that we inform you that Beverley Hopkins, wife of long time member Ken Hopkins, passed away on December 22nd after a courageous battle with cancer.

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of long-time NSC member Gilles Tardif, on Saturday, Aug 3rd.

Eric Bennison, NSC founding member and long time skipper of Tanika, passed away suddenly, but peacefully, on Saturday, April 20. See his obituary. Friends are invited to attend on Friday,

Sadly, founding club member and NSC’s second Commodore, Colin Nicholson, has recently passed. To learn more about Colin, Lorraine and family, or to offer your condolences, see his obituary.

Sid Palidwor, an avid sailor and long time member of the Nepean Sailing Club, passed away last Sunday.

Bruce Macdonald’s wife, Linda, passed away Dec. 22 after a prolonged illness. Bruce was with her at the time and said she was at peace. The funeral service will be private but Bruce has planned a “Celebration of Life” in NSC’s East Room on Sunday 20 Jan. 2013, from 2 to 5pm. See Linda’s obituary.
